Dear parents, beloved students and well wishers,

It is time once again to say good bye to another batch of students from Std X and Std XII and wish then all God’s choicest blessing for  a bright and prosperous future it is time also to write this short note for the School magazine.

The year 2009 seems to have vanished into thin air even before it started! What else can I say? 365 glorious days of warm sun shine, fog, mist, drizzle, frost, rain, hail stones, cloudy days and bright sunny days are over! So much has happened a kaleidoscope of events showing the varied talents of the children.

I have been overwhelmed by the performance of the girls on so many occasions functions we have celebrated in school and competitions we have taken part in, outside the school and of course our excellent results in Std X ICSE and Std XII Tamilnadu State Board exam including a 200 for Mathematics for the first time and we give god all the praise for a year well spent.

A lot of hard work has gone into grooming these girls into dynamic young ladies – preparing them for the future through out Quiet time, Morning Assemblies, Daily Lessons, TEP, Clubs, Games, Evening Chapel, Prep Time, Night Studies, Charity Projects, Excursions, Saturday morning walks, local visits to places of historical interest and participation in Inter School Debates, Quiz and Cultural competitions as well as Inter School Athletics and Games which took the athletes to Coimbatore and Chennai and the Basket Ball team to Kanyakumari for the State Championships. The students have responded with a lot of excellence and perseverance and I believe they have been benefitted in the process.

I would like to record my appreciation to all those who were responsible for the smooth running of a very successful year the dedicated teachers, hard working members of the domestic staff, supportive parents and a very committed School Council . of course all this would not have been possible but for your involvement and enthusiasm dear children.

As the curtain comes down on all the activities of this year, I end this note with deep gratitude to god for all His providence and care and wish all you readers a very blessed 2009!

“May the Lord bless us and keep us,
May the Lord make His face to shine upon us,
May He be gracious unto us,
And grant us His peace”         Num 6:24 26

With warm regards,
Mrs Pamela Clarke
